Trump has said he plans to defund planned parenthood, get rid of obamacare, and possibly criminalize abortions. You deserve to be safe. I know you can get an implant that lasts 5 years. the implants OP is talking about are IUDs (intrauterine devices)! they are inserted into the uterus. there are 2 types: mirena and paragard. mirena is hormonal and paragard is non-hormonal. there are upsides and downsides to both, so i reccomend checking out their websites.
there is also nexplanon, which is a hormonal insert injected into the arm. BOTH TYPES of IUD last for 5 years, while nexplanon only lasts for 3 years. stay safe guys!!
